INTRODUCTION: In the spring of 1891, the Kurdish chiefs declared that they were faithful to Sultan Abdulhamid II, wearing their special costumes. The Kurdish tribal cavalry (Hamidiye), named after Sultan, was poured into the folds of the Ottoman Empire and protested by domestic and foreign observers. Hamidi's early critics questioned militia discipline and honesty. Hamidiye Light Cavalry Regiment is an irregular militia consisting of Kurdish tribes that are operated by Sudan's reliable brothers Sakir Pasha and Zeki Pasha.

In 1892, the first trained Kurdish army was encouraged by Sultan Abdul Hamid II. There are several reasons why Hamidiye Light Cavalry was made. The establishment of Hamidi is part of the response to the threat of Russia, but the scholars believe that its central reason is to suppress Armenian socialism / nationalist revolutionaries. The Armenian revolutionaries are thought to be destructive and are a threat as they can fight the Ottoman and Russians. Hamidiye Corps or Hamidiye Light Cavalry Regiment are well equipped, irregular and most Kurdish cavalry (a handful of other nationalities such as Turcoman) is active in the eastern part of the Ottoman Empire. Hamidiye cavalry has a military appearance, organization and possibilities, but they are by no means power beyond tribe.

In 1908, after the sultan was overturned, the Hamidiye cavalry was dissolved into an organized unit, but it was still a "tribal unit" after dissolution because it was a "tribal unit" before being officially recognized. Hamidiye cavalry was explained as military disappointment and failure because of disagreement with its hordes. The main role of the Hamidi genocide between 1894 and 1996 often resulted in the Hamidiye regiment during Sasun's (1894) blood suppression. On July 25, 1897, the Khanasor expedition opposed the Kurdish man Mazuri Kurds who owned most of the cavalry. The first remarkable fight of Armenia resistance occurred in Sassoun. There, the KMT ideals were disseminated by Hunchak activists such as Mihran Damadian, Hampartsoum Boyadjian and Hrayr. The Armenian Revolutionary Federation has also played an important role in arming people in this area.

In this region, the civil war between Armenians and Muslims (involving Hamidier (cavalry)) had been furious for months, but then it was concluded by mediation by the great powers. However, in these areas, the Kurds (the Kurdish tribal chief) holds most of the autonomy and power, not the autonomy of the Armenians in these areas. Abdul Hamid did not attempt to change the traditional power structure - Aga, Shaik, and tribal chief of the "split agricultural Kurdish society". Because of the geographical position and mountainous areas of the southern and eastern extremities of the empire, and the limited traffic and communication systems. The state could hardly access these provinces and was forced to conclude an informal agreement with tribal chiefs such as Osman Kadi and Mufti who do not control the religious laws which strengthen the authority and autonomy of the Kurds.
