Xi Chen HNC '06 is an associate professor of public health and economics at Yale University. He is a researcher at the Yale Social and Social Policy Research School, a researcher at the Yale MacMillan Center for international and regional studies, and a teacher advisor for the Yale Chinese Association. He is a deputy editor in China Health Review and a member of the planning committee of the China Health Policy and Management Association. Chen lives in New Haven, Connecticut with his wife and daughter. In May 2015, Nathan Chu HNC '07 joined the US Air Force and worked in Texas for nine months. He will soon be stationed in Okinawa, Japan. This is 6 years in Thailand, during which he supported the establishment of charity groups, supported education and regional development projects, played professional soccer, and opened the first CrossFit box (CrossFit TEN 500) in Bangkok .
Matthew Backes got a doctorate. He gained history at Columbia University in 2005. He teaches at Princeton University, Knights University, and Union County University. He is currently revising his first book, manuscripts of patriarchal and intimate identity research in America in the 19th century to be published by the University of Virginia Press. His research and educational interests include 19th century religion, family, gender and culture.
The 19th century study is an interdisciplinary journal published annually by the 19th century research association. This journal was written by David Hanson, a college English faculty in the southeast of Louisiana.
