The Great Athena: Manipulation of Odysseus

In Homer 's "Odyssey", Odysseus is known as "Great Tactician" (7.256). With the help of the goddess Athena, Odysseus must return to his house after winning the Trojan horse war. During Odysseus' journey, he must encounter many obstacles that hinder what he wants and defeat it. During this journey, once Odysseus came home he learned that he had to conquer the followers who had invaded his house. - Throughout history, the theme of literature remained relatively consistent and the situation was updated to appeal to modern audiences. A common feature in great movies and literature is the existence of a hero. Odysseus could be categorized as a hero because his son Telemachus was born on the day I left Ithaca's home and made his wife Penelope fight in the Trogon war. Odysseus started a journey with 600 crew members and 12 ships.

As a disguise of Odysseus's old friend, Athena went to his estate in Ithaca. Odysseus' son, Telemacos, was dissatisfied with the pursuers, welcomed Athena warmly as a stranger and invited her to their feast. When the follower swallowed the Odysseus cow, Telemacos said he believed his father - he did not know - had died. Athena introduced himself to Otisseus' old friend, Menthes, and predicted he will head home soon. But he did not have any hope and he and his mother could not do anything about arrogant pursuers. Athena summoned islanders' rallies and instructed him to order trackers; then he had to find his father's message in Pilos and Sparta. After that, just like Orestes, he must kill the pursuer. Inspired, Telemachus thanked her for her advice and she left.
