The Grasslands

Pictures of the grassland can be seen from the horizon to the horizon. The land is flat and covered with a bunch of different crops and small trees. I see a village beside the river. Most houses are brick and some are wooden. Power lines run up and down the street. Closing your eyes makes the scene a place you are not used so much. The land is flat and there are steep slopes nearby. In this scene you can see a house made of fertilizer, not a brick or wooden house. The ground is dry and barely alive.

In fact, most of the grasslands are between the forest and the desert. About a quarter of the earth is covered with grasslands, but many of them are farms. The grassland is normally open and fairly flat, and it lives on all continents except Antarctica. Most people lie in the dry part inside the mainland. Natural fire and artificial fire are very important to maintain the grassland. Ancient hunters will fire regularly to maintain and expand the grasslands, and to prevent unexposed trees and shrubs from taking over. The grass grows from below, not from above, so grass can survive in the fire

Prairie is a spontaneous one, it is also a result of human activity. The grassland that is made and maintained by human activities is called artificial grassland. Hunters worldwide fire frequently to maintain and expand pastures to prevent the use of refractory trees and shrubs. High prairie in the Midwest United States may spread east to Illinois, Indiana, Ohio by human facilities. Most of the grasslands in the northwestern part of Europe developed after the Neolithic period when people gradually cut down forests and established agricultural areas.

In prehistoric times, forests dominated the surface of the earth, but human activities such as agriculture and deforestation have led to the spread of prairie biomes. Aside from Antarctica, as they are spreading to the continent, the extent of the prairie biome is obvious. Prairie biome is estimated to occupy more than 20% of the earth's surface. Grassland biome is divided into two categories: Savanna biome (Savannah biome) and temperate grassland biome. The biome of two grasslands has one thing in common, the grass is the main natural vegetation.
