The Goal

It is my dream to play football on a soccer team. Like my father. At least this is what my mother said. I have never met my father, he is a naval soldier. So I have never met him. There are two processes in goal pursuit, goal setting and goal pursuit. Okay, you may think, yes, goal setting is very important, I already know. No, no, not only goal setting, there is no clear goal. What is the clear goal? A clear goal is to tell you what to do so that you do not want to know what your mind should do to help you move more. A difference between a moon shot or a large goal and a clear goal is that a clear goal is a foothold for achieving a major goal. A clear goal is now what to do and a clear goal will tell you what you need to do now.

What is the goal and the goal is obvious? Somalia's goal is to save people from famine first and foremost; this is a clear goal. Another goal is to improve Somalia's reign, but it has not been achieved yet. Rwanda will have a clear goal to stop killing 800 thousand people within two months. Tragically, however, Rwanda did not intervene. Kosovo has clear goals. Serbs go out and make Kosovo run their own country. In Iraq, there is a clear goal: to remove Saddam. After that, in my opinion, there is no clear goal. In Libya there is a clear goal: to defeat Gaddafi, this is not a goal approved by the United Nations. The United Nations has approved smaller targets, but NATO believes this is an approval for what they do. In Afghanistan, I do not think the goal is clear yet; there are no achievable goals.
