Georgia Georgia is the last British colony established in North America. In 1732, General James Oglethorpe and some of his wealthy British friends became new colonial councilors. In the next 21 years, they will help Georgia's growth and prosperity, then regain control of the throne. From the beginning, Georgia was a completely different colony from the other South British colonies. The trustee pursues three goals.
