The Genocidal Killer in the Mirror” by Crispin Sartwell and Erich Fromm’s Disobedience as a Psychological and Moral Problem

Many atrocities have been done in places where simple and often harmless people such as Abu Ghraib and Mai Lai are insulted or murderers of innocent people in pursuit of security, acceptance and public interest. In modern military society and modern society it shows that there is a worrisome trend, and many people claim that they just kept order. Give pain and death to the innocent people.

Why do humans tend to obey and do not want to resist. In Eric Flam's essay "Disobedient to Psychological and Moral Issues", obedience is considered virtue and disobedience for the majority of human history. When believing that obedience brings happiness and success, they are no longer afraid because they hope that they will serve and not obey. Fromm wrote: I felt strongly because my obedience made me part of my worshiping power. Even if you commit a crime you can not be punished and you can not commit a crime (363)

In 1963 Erich Fromm announced the first paper "Prohibition of Submission as Psychological / Moral Issues". It is also published in the textbook "Writing and Reading Courses". He wrote this article.
