The French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution

The 18th and 19th centuries were characterized by the greatest changes in human history, reform, revolution and many other major events. All these revolution is attributed to man's enlightenment. The two most important revolution are the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution. You can feel that these two revolution strengthen each other and later became the backbone of all other revolution. On the other hand, these two revolutions brought quite different influences and results in different economic, political and social fields.

Auguste Conte (1798-1857), widely regarded as "father of sociology", became interested in learning society because of the changes brought about by the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution. During the French Revolution that began in 1789, the class system of France changed dramatically. The nobility suddenly lost their money and status, and the farmers who were at the bottom of the social ladder rose to a stronger and more influential position. The Industrial Revolution followed the French Revolution and began in Western Europe in the 19th century. During the industrial revolution, people abandoned their agricultural lives and moved to the city to find a factory. They work long hours in dangerous situations to get low wages. There are new social problems, and for decades little effort has been made to solve the plight of the poor in urban areas.

William Black lives in an era of intense social change. Editor Mike said that the American Revolution, the French Revolution, the Industrial Revolution all occurred in his life. These changes gave Blacks the opportunity to see the changes of the Western Europe into feudal agricultural societies, philosophers and political thinkers to one of the most dramatic stages of the industrial society striving for individual rights (785). Blacks experienced the American Revolution, which included losses in the North American 13 North American colonies. Although this is an economic loss, it is confidence and fame that the UK lost (785). Anderson explained that the French Revolution is the greatest fear of the British ruling class and overthrew the anointed King through a democratic "walk" (600). The last revolution in black was an industrial revolution.
