Lex mercatoria (Business Law) was born to provide rapid arbitration and reliable enforcement in the era of international trade growth. It consists of generally accepted business practices including bills and notes, insurance, banking, shipping, warranty and use of agents. The main sources of law are not government but businessmen and their associations. It is based on the freedom of contract and the principle of asset assignability. The Commercial Court of the European Commodity Fair sent a ruling. Under common standards, contracts signed in Genoa can be determined in the courts of Paris or Antwerp. Implementation is done by community with reputation system. Those who did not comply with the court's decision were excluded. A businessman is a person who owns a store. John Hancock is a wealthy businessman living in Boston. He firmly believes in the colonial freedom. He does not like the British trade law. He believes Americans should trade not only in the UK but with any country they want. He also does not want to pay British taxes. So he smuggled and sneaked into the country illegally, and the goods entered Boston from other countries. People known as loyalists continue to be loyal to the Kingdom of England and George III for various reasons. Many wealthy landlords and businessmen believe that their business will be damaged when they oppose the king. Merchants need goods from the UK to sell goods to customers. In the 1600's, England began colonizing the United States of America. King James urged those opposed to British churches such as Puritans to settle in the United States. Many settlers came to the USA to gain religious freedom. Since the land at that time was free or cheap, the merchant settled in the United States to profit. Settling in the USA gives people hope and dream and they can do something in their own life. Even a contracting servant hopes to possess land shortly after they finish service someday. This is unlikely, but they have hope
