As a parent I influenced my social and instrumental development and influenced the result to one of the goals of the adult life. Over the years, many theories concerning child rearing have been developed. Diana Baum Lind has developed four forms of parenting, authority, tolerance, dictatorship and irrelevance. Parenting in all categories is associated with a defined parenting style, but the results of children are as diverse as the parent type. Authoritative parenting is an intimate parenting method.
Parenting style is important to influence child's behavior, and its style forms a context in which child's behavior can occur (Fox paragraph 2). There are four different types of child rearing methods. Developed by Child Psychologist Diana Baum Lind, these styles provide most of the information, including authority, tolerance, dictatorship, negligence / non-participation, in the book 'Understanding of Children and Adolescents' (Forsyth 376 ). In a very interesting children's book for "The Watsons Go to Birmingham - 1963", author Christopher Paul Curtis introduces many of the characteristics of a particular child - rearing style using family life and adventure.
Although we can not integrate neatly into a single parenting style, we use a variety of styles for child rearing. Think of these four styles as a continuum, not four different parental methods. Ideally, we will consider children and their needs at a specific point in time. For example, parents usually do not adopt an approach to monopoly parenting, but sometimes this style is needed in a child's life. Or, you may know authoritarian parents cultivating, contrary to the above explanation.
Child Care Method Study of parenting method examines which parenting style is most effective for promoting emotional health of a child. The model developed by Maccoby and Martin has identified four different outcome styles including two different dimensions of child's future mental health and function, request / management level, acceptance / refusal level. Children with high levels of demand and control but low levels of warmth or acceptance lack social skills, do not internalize good behavioral standards, and have low self-esteem. Some of these children may seem soft; others show signs of high level aggressive attitude or other uncontrollable
Child-rearing style is related to various children's outcomes, and prestigious style is often associated with positive behavior such as strong self-esteem and self-esteem.
