The Fountainhead

Fountainhead is a novel about the ideals of the four roles of Howard Roark, Peter Keating, Ellsworth Toohey, and Gail Wynand, gathered to play a variety of roles in the construction industry. Ian Rand introduced a concept that confuses the "source" of her novels; because her role is not consistent with the status quo, they do things the reader can not understand. They are trapped in the architectural world and decide what to do between selfishness and selflessness. The next major project of Rand is The Fountainhead, which began research in 1935. Land was named after a novelist, published by We the Living (1936), The Fountainhead (1943), and her huge Atlas shrug (1957). These philosophical novels reflect the theme of her subsequent nonfiction in the series of essays and books of the 1960s and 1970s. Rand born in St. Petersburg, Russia on 2 February 1905 was a middle-class family. When I was a child I liked talking about stories, but decided to be a writer when I was nine years old. She showed scholarly efforts at school, especially mathematics. Her family was shocked by both the revolution brought about by the Communist revolution of 1917, the subsequent civil war and social unrest, and her father's pharmacy was confiscated by the Soviets.
