The Republican Party was formed after the wig party broke up in early 1850 because the Kansas Nebraska state law, which inevitably invalidated the Missouri compromise and caused a disagreement among party members, was successfully enforced. On 20th March 1854, many anti - slavery activists met in Wisconsin formed a Republican party. This new party is based on a set of principles based on freedom and equal opportunities and has consistently expressed its commitment to nontransferable rights for the pursuit of life, freedom and happiness.
In the days when the party existed, it was often called the Republican Party. Historians, political scientists, and authorities often call this party a Democratic Republican or Jefferson Republican to distinguish it from the modern Republican Party (founded in 1854). The modern Republicans, built in 1854, have intentionally chosen to be named after Jason. Modern democratic politicians claim that Jefferson is their founder. The party appeared in an anti-government faction secretly met in the national capital (Philadelphia) to oppose Alexander Hamilton's fiscal plan (see American School and Hamiltonian Economic Plan). Jefferson condemned the plan of destruction of these monarchies and republicanism. Jefferson needs a KMT to challenge Federalists and Hamilton is building relationships with allies in major cities.
Republican, or Democratic Republican Party, was founded in 1792 by Jefferson and James Madison. The party was formed to oppose Hamilton and Federal party policies. Contrary to federalists, the Republican Party supports the strict interpretation of the Constitution and accuses Hamilton's proposal (especially the National Bank) as unconstitutional. The party advertised the rights of the state and the superiority of farmers, but they were not bankers, industrialists, businessmen and other interest groups. The party supports the rights of the state as measures against the tyranny of the large central government and they are afraid that the federal government is likely to be such a right. After the 1800 election, Jefferson and Republicans will replace the Federal party's political rules.
