The romantic era follows the era of enlightenment, scientific discovery, political change, and philosophical progress. Romanticism challenges the rationality of enlightenment (Britannica). Romantic artists make their emotions a romantic tradition and Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley challenges the benefits of science, education and knowledge. In Frankenstein, Dr. Frankenstein, his creature and Robert Walton are ambitious and they are eager for their knowledge.
Many novels and stories draw the theme of desire. Probably the most famous explanation of desire is in the Bible. In Genesis, after a snake attempted to feed Adam and Eve the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge, they were convinced that they would gain their understanding of God's right and wrong and protect them from death. God said he did not eat fruit, but Adam and Eve did this. Of course, this story depicts temptation, but the theme of transcendent temptation will lay the theme of desire
It is widely believed that the devil first appeared in the Bible in Genesis, persuaded Eve, then persuaded Adam to eat the forbidden fruit from the "tree of knowledge" of the Garden of Eden I will. As the story says, after a lavish approach of Eve to the Devil, her and Adam were exiled from the Garden of Eden and were destined to die. Many Christians believe that the devil once despised God and was a beautiful angel named Lucifer that fell from grace. This assumption is usually based on the Isaiah of the Bible. "How did the morning son Lucifer come down from heaven, art reduced to the ground, weakening the country?"
In the Bible, forbidden trees are called good and evil trees (3: 5) The fact is often drawn as an apple, but the Bible does not explain the fruit. In the Quran, forbidden trees are not nominated, but Shaitaan calls it "an eternal tree" to fool Adam and his wife. According to the Bible, for the curse of God snakes must crawl and eat dust, women suffer at birth, men must make a living by sweat. It clearly distinguishes between blessing, pain and obedience to crime. According to the Quran, no such curses were issued. The difficulty of living on the earth is different from life in heaven.
