Through organizational management, we learned about the five functions of management, namely planning, leadership, organization, staffing and control (Dr. Michael Reilly, 2011). I currently work as an accounts receivable expert in the finance department of Ashford University. As we learned through the course we will examine all the features and compare it with what Ashford University currently does so we can better understand why Ashford University did it . And keep on making specific decisions.
As one of the five management functions, Henri Fayol categorizes "Organization" into five subcategories. In today's organization, the top five functions of management are still important. The first of the five management functions mentioned by Henri Fayol is "specialization"; if each employee is allowed to use their personal skills, this will benefit their specialties I guess. Next, I mentioned "unified command" that one employee is responsible only for one administrator. "Official communication chain" is linked to this so that employees can know the way and way of communication. The fourth category is "unified direction", and all employees must understand the organization's strategic goals. The fifth category is "power and responsibility" and the manager has the right to issue orders.
In this guide, we first explain the management definition, then introduce the general theory on management functions, and explain these functions. You can also read about the five core functional features of planning, organization, staffing, coaching, and management, why they are important, and how they can be managed through management.
