The First Monster at Heorot in Beowulf

Beowulf was able to extract Glendell 's arm from the socket with bare hands. Ironically, if he chooses to use weapons against Glendell, his fight is useless. Glendel cast a spell and I realized that weapons can not hurt him. Fate seems to have chosen Beowulf to defeat Glendell. This is a bold assertion, basically saying fate is good for those who have courage.
