The First Form of Communication over Long Distances

Telegraph was one of the most effective and important inventions during the Industrial Revolution. In addition to long distance communication, it contributes during the war, is released from future war, and can spread important information all over the world at high speed. Telegraph appeared from the 18th century to the 19th century, became the first form of long distance communication, became a milestone in the history of mankind. Before the radio was invented, there were various forms of long distance communication. In a very primitive era, Homing pigeons were trained to transmit information over long distances. The earliest example was used by Egyptians and Persians more than 3,000 years ago. This type of communication was also used in the First World War to send important information in case the radio could not be used for fear of being intercepted by the enemy. Photoelectric messages are also used for communication. There are many variations on how to use this method. American Indians use smoke signals as a form of long distance communication, but this method was also used by Germans during the First World War. Another form of optical telegraph will reflect sunlight using mirrors. It is used by ancient Greeks early in the year 405 BC

Prior to the emergence of computers and modern technologies, people used traditional methods such as letters and telephones over long distance communications. Today, we have many communication tools to do this. E-mail, instant messaging, video calls etc. The current and previous communication modes are generally similar, but their speeds and the range of available tools are different. The similarity between the current communication method and the previous communication method relates to the form of communication. In the past, in addition to verbal forms such as telephone, written forms such as letters have been used frequently. Again, people are currently using both formats. As in the past, forms of written communication such as e-mail and text messaging are common.
