The First Crusades

The human race principle forces people to fight for what they believe; therefore, in the case of the Crusaders, defending religion is not objective to this principle. In the case of First Crrusade, a lot of people do this and they know voluntarily that many of them die to protect their religious beliefs. In the Byzantine Empire, our ways of living have been decided by human beliefs and religion. It is human nature to fight for what they believe and hence protecting religion is not as objective as the first crusaders.

The first crusade was not the only crusade, and the sacred place never remained under the authority of Christian. Although their goals and strategies are different, the first crusaders and other people since then have three things in common - religion, politics, and siege battle.
