A very important event in Peru's history is the way Peru is independent from Spain. It all started with an uprising of Hispanic American landowners whose power was led by Jose de San Martin in Argentina and Simon Bolivar in Venezuela. Because Peru is home to the Spanish government of South America, the strategy of President St. Martin to free Argentine patriot Peru is to use diplomacy. He sent delegates to Lima to urge Viceroy Pazuela to declare Peruvian independence, but all negotiations failed.
The battle of land reached its climax in 1881, and Chile occupied Lima. For the first time since Peru independence, Lima was invaded by foreign troops. Peruvian remnants and irregular forces led by Grand Marshal Andres, Peruvian Governor General. A. Cáceres led violent and cruel guerrilla war against Chile. One of guerrilla wars recorded for the first time in modern history. After the four-year battle, the Chilean army was over-expanded and the war was exhausted, so the Chilean army fought the last counterattack, the so-called Wamacucho fight. This battle lasts for days and is the hottest war to date. Almost all of the resistance forces in Peru died, almost half of the Chilean army was destroyed.
A series of conflicts and wars led to the independence of Peruvian and Bolivian colonies. Peru declared independence by San Martin Jose de on July 28, 1821. Bolivia gained independence from Spain in 1809, but experienced suffering and struggle for 16 years before becoming a republic. In order to gain independence, the constant conflict between different colonies and the war have paid a great price. I can not imagine the loss of life in these wars. During the revolution, trade between the revolutionary colonies against the British and Spanish regime steadily expanded as Spain opposed the trade with the Spanish colonies in the past. A solution is necessary to summarize the common goals of Latin American countries. One of the first people who proposed cooperation between Spain and the United States, consisting of common military, common defense agreement and parliamentary assembly, was Simon Bolivar of the Panama Congress of 1826.
