The Fatal Pride of Odysseus

Odysseus, a great hero and known as a war leader, encountered and overcome an obstacle impossible in returning to Ithaca. Cyclops pray that his father destroys Odysseus and makes him blind. This led to a more difficult journey when Odysseus came home.

Odyssey is definitely a defective hero and his most obvious mistake is not pride, abuse, and faith.
