The Fall of Communism

The time before the formation of the Soviet Union was designated as the government of social unrest, famine and failure. After many struggles, many smaller Soviet republics, known as the Soviet Union in 1922, joined to form a number of countries. Vladimir Lenin, then leader, replaced the failed capitalist government with a communist government. . At the end of the Second World War, most of the East and Central European countries were occupied by Soviet forces. They were controlled by the Soviet government and returned to the "iron curtain".

The collapse of Communism was in the process of negotiating the EU Treaty as the European Community (which was then called it) became a single market. In this case, the attitude of the European Community to central and Eastern European transition countries is instantaneous and is somewhat restricted by overcrowded agenda. The Danish "none" of Maastricht Treaty and the collapse of Yugoslavia complicated the situation. However, central and Eastern European countries expressed their desire to join the European Union soon. The EU met them on the way and presented their association agreement. It has not yet determined the exact roadmap for the final members.

Due to the collapse of communism in the early 1990s and the collapse of the Soviet Union, Western European democracy celebrated their victory in politics and the economic system, and many old communists would join the EU and NATO I asked. By the end of the 1990s, the transition from communism to capitalism and democracy was not as simple as originally thought, and the Western countries were facing difficulties due to economic downturn and expansion of social welfare programs.
