The Wisconsin Major League team represents three sports: football, baseball, basketball. Lambeau Field is located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, home of the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League. Since the second season of the league in 1921, Packers became a member of NFL, maintained the best NFL record, and acquired the nickname "Titletown USA" of Greentown City. Packers is the smallest city franchise in the NFL, the only city owned by state-wide shareholders. This team was founded by "Curly" Lambeau. The Green Bay Packers team is one of the world's most successful small market professional franchises, including the first two AFL-NFL championships (Super Bowl I and II), 13 NFL including Super Bowl XXXI and Super I won the championship. Bowl XLV. Lambert Field's season ticket waiting list is 81,000, which proves team support for the team.
The history of the Green Bay Packers team is deeper in this community than this blog. I believe that many companies and people near Big Green Bay have their own "story of packaged workers". But that is why Green Bay is an attractive soccer city. For more information, please refer to C & M Presents's Packers Heritage Trail Trolley Tours to see more historical sites with more detailed information.
There is no Jerry Jones or Dan Snyder in the Green Bay. In contrast, Packers is publicly available and 112,158 shareholders own 4,750,937 shares of Green Bay Packers Incorporated. Because almost all franchises will benefit from their fans, this is a more robust model for professional sports ownership. Over the past two decades, municipalities spent nearly $ 15 billion on the construction or renovation of NBA, NFL, and MLB stadiums. Owners insist against opposition, but there are many studies showing that these stadiums did not promote economic growth.
