The Everlasting Dark Shadow of Romanticism

To many people speaking and listening to the word romanticism evoke many stereotypes and definitions and feelings before judgment. The biggest reason why this happens is that romanticism sounds like romance. The similarity of the speech and spelling of two words leads to those who think that it means that the two words are the same or closely related. In Romanticism and Romanticism there are some similarities between spelling and pronunciation, but the difference is not that large. In the Merriam Webster Dictionary, romance is defined as a "love story".

Dark Romanticism is a subfamily of literary romanticism that reflects the interests of people such as irrationality, demons, and grotesque. It has been confused with Gothic since the beginning of the 18th century, and it affected the romantic movement of euphoria. Edgar Allan Poe is often regarded as the best representative of the tradition. The excitement of romanticism and the celebration of sublimation are subjects of similar intense fascination in depression, crazy, crime, and in a dark atmosphere. There are choices of ghosts and ghouls, grotesque, absurdity. In a long study of romantic anguish published in 1930, literary theorist Mario Plazz named this form "Dark Romanticism".

As promised, we will see dark romantic poetry by examining the crows of Edgar Allan Poe, especially familiar poetry to many people. Crow has all of dark romanticism. The desire for returning to a simple age, the loss of reason, and finally the existence of supernatural power designed to hurt them. Another poetic and dark romantic example is the ancient sailor Rime of Samuel Taylor Coleridge. There, the reader does not know whether the position of the romantic ocean will help or become an obstacle to the narrator.
