The Establishment of the Electoral College

Electoral college is a system for election of the President of the United States established by the founder's father. Importantly, Americans have a basic knowledge of this system and overcome obstacles in the development process. When the government was built, the founder's father faced many obstacles. The United States consists of 13 states that want to protect individual rights and maintain a strong central government position. This country has a large population, communication capacity is limited.

Founder's father founded a constitutional electoral college as a compromise between the presidential election and the universal election of the presidential election. However, the term "constituency" does not appear in the "constitution". Article 2 and Article 12 of the Constitution refer to "electorate" rather than "electoral group". Many different proposals to change the presidential election process, such as direct elections for the people of the country, have been proposed over the years. But nobody passed the Congress and sent it to the country for approval as constitutional amendment. According to the most general way to amend the Constitution, amendments are proposed by two thirds in both Houses and must be approved by three quarters of the country.

First of all, what is electoral college? When the US Constitution was adopted as a compromise between presidential election and referendum, an election college was established. Currently, there are 538 electoral delegates who must obtain 270 majority votes to win candidates. If candidates do not receive a majority, elections will be decided by the House of Representatives. The number of delegates in each state is the number of Representatives of the House of Representatives and Senators. In addition, there are three representatives in Washington, DC. Each state candidate usually has its own electorate elected by that candidate, but the state law is different. When you vote for candidates, you actually vote for their voters, and they gather in December and choose the president. As mentioned earlier, most states are winners and the significance of having all candidates reach a majority prevails over all state voters.
