People's primary concern from all demographics and religions is the ongoing environmental crisis in the United States and around the world. Many aspects of our daily lives living in a capitalist society are causing severe damage to our planet. Problems such as global warming, bottling water, searching oil and fossil fuels are part of the most famous environmental crisis in the United States. I believe that the US can actually find a safe and informative solution to many of these problems if we actively address it while fixing serious problems.
Any discussion of the modern environmental crisis is the interaction between mankind and the environment, which may be a difficult argument. Many international reports and conferences show that global environmental problems are increasing (Bailes, 1985). - Flood of the Mississippi River One of the biggest floods of the Mississippi River occurred in the summer of 1993. * The Mississippi River in St. Louis, Missouri experienced a flood period of 144 days from 1 April 1993 to 30 September 1993. * About 3 billion cubic meters of water flowing from the downstream river to the flood plain of St. Louis. * All the large rivers in the Midwest, such as the Mississippi River, Missouri State, Kansas State, Illinois State, Des Moines, the Wisconsin River, are all inundated. * 17,000 square miles of land was covered with floods in areas covering all or part of the nine states (North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa).
In response to the increasingly severe environmental crisis such as climate change and forest degradation, many universities in the Western side have acquired degrees in different fields. ... but more and more environmentally conscious students are leaning towards one of the oldest fields of academia: philosophy. Buddhism is the same as stoicism. We can protect ourselves from changes in the world. It is possible to protect yourself from the nuisance of the world and should do so. But philosopher Todd May said that this is not what we really want.
