The Emergence of Surf Music

The appearance of surfing music appeared in various music styles in the early 1960's. One of the music styles is Southern California's most famous music style, surf music. Surfing music is a short-lived phenomenon occurring from 1961 to 1965 (Nostalgia, 2002). Crazy about surfing music, Hollywood also began making lots of movies about surfing including Gidget and Endless Summer (St. James Encyclopedia, 2003 and Nostalgia, 2002).

In the early 1960s, surf music became a hymn for young people on the West Coast of California. At the beginning of the initial establishment, young people used surf and car as sports as a sport, so the city musicians were inspired by these themes, they made their songs, this was the beginning of the birth of surf music is. There are surf music that brings impact and visual ability to surf and race experiences. Musicians playing surf music can not be forced to surf or play. They only use these sports as their own theme theme. I can not imagine whether this obligation actually exists. Therefore, I believe there are only a few surfing bands in the world.

In the center of every album there is music paper. This time, I pointed my attention to Nadassurf's "You know who you are". The big theme that first appeared to me was this past glory. Nada Surf is not the first band to sing in the past. One of my favorite Bruce Springsteen songs is called "Glory Days", but the band decided to take a different approach. I do not focus on not returning anyhow, it seems to be using the glory of the past as a launch pad for future success. This is a wonderful lesson for me and other listeners.

Surf music, founded in southern California in 1961, was the largest commercial success in vocal music, especially at the beach boys' job. Their initial album included instrumental surf rock (including Dick Dale's music cover) and vocal songs, as well as rock and soup bopps and vocal pop music like Four Freshmen. Their first chart, 'Surfing' in 1962, reached Billboard's Top 100 and helped make surfing music a national phenomenon. The arrival of British invasion in 1964 effectively ended the surf music boom and almost all surfing behavior.
