Research design for the study took place in 9 weeks. Several tests took place before and after 9 weeks of resistance training to determine the muscular strength, jumping ability, sprint ability, RFD etc needed for firefighting work. Other factors including height, weight and size of limbs and chest were also considered. Participants' upper body and lower body were measured by barbell squat and bench press movement using 1 RM method until failure.
