The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of higher education student socio-economic status on their academic performance and relationships among these determinants. This study was conducted at the elderly of 691 college students trained at Suleiman Demirel University and selected by the weighted quantitative combined score of the Student Selection Test. In this study, student weighted qualitative composite score selection was taken into consideration. It was accepted by each faculty, and the academic year was averaged until the previous year was used as a dependent variable. The average score of academic achievement is the average score of the students before each school's final grade starts. As independent variables, parents' educational background, family income, position of family life, position of the father's workplace, number of brothers and sisters, and the academic background of students who chose the students before the examination were considered. research. The data obtained was analyzed using correlation, regression and bidirectional variable analysis method. The result of the study shows that the high school type that the student graduates can be said to be an important predictor of the student's academic performance. Family related variables are not powerful predictors. Higher education institutions before higher education will also increase the homogeneity of higher education students who accept national exam students

Socio-economic background is one of the most powerful and mature predictors of academic performance (1, 2). As we all know, economic disadvantages can reduce student academic performance through a variety of mechanisms including reduced access to educational resources, increased stress, malnutrition and decreased health care There is sex. Nevertheless, students with the same economic background believe that student beliefs such as control points will reduce or exacerbate the economic disadvantage to academic performance for a long time as researchers long for different academic achievements It was. However, at the system level, there is a lack of clarity on what these beliefs are and how they interact with structural factors such as economic disadvantages. This survey identifies the belief that it is systematically related to economic disadvantages and reduces the impact on achievement, that is, the way of thinking about students' intelligence.
The challenge for researchers is to find characteristics of school level that can change student achievement beyond socio-economic status. The purpose of this study was to identify new academic optimism that is positive about academic performance and education and then explain the student's performance while controlling socioeconomic status (Hoy et al., 2006). The majority of students at a certain level are in adolescence, which is the peak time that affects the completion of careers and personality development, but it is likely to lead to depression and self-esteem, which may lead to suicide at times. there are a lot of.
