Do you think that the paper people's words reflect someone's actions? Today, Rap has become the most popular music type in the United States. The rap industry is dominated by artists mainly using their lyrics for violence, drugs, sex. In 1998 and 1999, a survey conducted by the National Music Bureau showed that 46% of Rap's audience are under 19 years of age. And 65% of the desolate families and spectators living in poor areas are usually in the city center. The National Music Bureau also reported that 66% of Rap's audiences under the age of 19 are blacks.
Rap music is a way for young people in the city center of black to express their feelings and to see and live, it is a form of entertainment. Tangled with friends, wrapped or listened to by other user's wraps, black teenagers may get caught in dangerous community troubles. Because mainstream culture does not have music to meet the needs of these young people, they create their own music. Therefore, rap music originally appeared as a means for "inner inner youth expressing daily life and struggle" (Shaomari, 1995, 17).
In the early 1980s, the second wave of rap artists brought inner city wraps to young Americans by blending it with hard guitar rock. It was created by a group such as Run-D.M.C. Like Beastie Boys, new music appeals to black and white audiences. Another subcategory that appeared is a controversial hip-hop brand gang wrap represented by west coast rappers like Ice Cube and Tupac Shakur. Emphasizing violence and gang war, Gangstar rapper accuses of violence in downtown area - an argument that increased momentum in the competition between the East Coast and the West Coast of the 1990s
Gangsta rap is a hip-hop subtype that reflects the violent lifestyle of cities in black American cities. Gangsta is a word that is not common for gangs. This type was created in the mid 1980s by wrappers such as Schoolly D and Ice-T and was advertised by groups such as N. W. A in the late 1980s. Ice-T released "6" to "Mornin" in 1986. This is usually considered the song of the first gang rap. After the latter half of the 1980s and the early 1990s Ice-T and NWA caused national concerns and controversies, gang rap became the most subtype of hip hop's commercial interests.
