The Effects of Communism in Black America

Many important people in the black history believe that communism has the potential to reduce the inequality imposed on its citizens by social structure based on capitalism. These include Claudia Jones, an influential black activist in the mid 1900's. Jones' belief in socialism transcends his ability to correct long-standing traditions and racism discrimination. Traditionally, since the establishment, the American black church was a symbol of the unity of the black community. In times of crisis, it has surpassed various religious positions and has been the spiritual home of Black Americans for many years. It also plays a role in community participation, social activities, providing care to patients, and providing evacuation centers for the poor. During the civil rights movement, the black community saw the church leaders as a tool that could change their social situation.
