The catastrophic impact of alcohol abuse on families and children is well documented. Clinical diagnosis of alcohol abuse occurs when alcohol destroys normal function of family (Ripley, Cunion, & Noble, 2006). Recently, treatment of alcohol abuse by family therapy has advanced (Ripley et al., 2006). The tension of this handful of film occurred at the end of World War II with a murder at the Black Military Base. Davenport Captain (Howard E. Rollins, Jr.), a proud black military lawyer, was sent to Fort Neal, Louisiana to investigate the death of Sergeant Waters (Adolph Caesar). By interviewing the man at Sarges, Davenport learned that he is an evil character. And I serve the white world, and despise his roots. Is the murderer a paranoid white officer? Or maybe he is a black soldier plagued by Waters' constant race bait?
Alcoholism does not have a uniform influence on all households. Dysfunction and elasticity of non-alcoholic adults is an important factor affecting children in families. Untreated alcoholic poisoned children have a lower score from the standpoint of family unity, knowledge and culture orientation, positive entertainment orientation and independence. They have a higher degree of conflict among families, and more often experience remote and non - communication of other families. In untreated alcohol dependence families, the cumulative effect of family dysfunction can affect the ability of children to grow in a healthy and developmental way.
