Although some sports are inherently violent, violence is expected to remain on the scene. This expectation presents a unique challenge to athletes. Therefore, sports officials - coaches, managers, parents - must systematically intervene at every level of sports (preferably starting with a young athlete) to limit sports violence and set action boundaries .
