The Effect of Fate on the Outcome of a Drama

Every day, people want to know whether they control what they have chosen or have the power to control themselves. From the first page of Shakespeare's romantic drama "Romeo and Juliet's tragedy", fate is to win the player. This disappointing disaster occurred in Verona, Italy. There, two battle families fought each other. Romeo and Juliet, the family fighting the children secretly got married to each other and the society committed suicide because the society insisted that the couple can not stay together.

The word "fate" is often used with Greek classical literature and dramas, but the destiny in the sense of the intended result is not what many Americans have today. Before choosing to produce some results, someone is not doomed, but some choices and actions eventually will bring some results. With both dramas, fate will determine the results of the leader. In the king of Edips, he works hard to save the plague of Thebes. He has a Kryon, and it goes to Apollo of healing and asks what he can do to end the disease. Apollo replied that if they found a Lieus murderer they would be blocked if banished instead of plague. The murderer was Edipus, which was originally forcibly repatriated by Thebes. This shows that he is going to do something ethical but eventually hurt himself.

In this drama, fate can bear the tragedy, because all the action Oedipus does is scheduled, and he can not do anything about his own destiny. In my interpretation of the drama, it may be a victim of destiny; however, he is not innocent and is responsible for the results of his life. The role of prophecy is important in older dramas that imitated the beliefs of people who claim that they can not avoid their destiny and fate. If this were true, Edips could not hope to escape the prophecies of the gods. But Edipsus controls how he deals with the prophecies. Edips had no pleasure accepting his fate, but tried to get rid of his fate. He believed that his deadly wisdom and jealousy were enough to defeat his fate, so he ran away from Polybus and Merophe 's house. When he met Teiresias and learned more about him, he called Teiresias a fool and chose to believe that he could escape fate.
