Electronic mythology In the process of reading mythology, I found countless insights and concepts about entrepreneurial spirit and small business management appropriate for my application. Currently I am Vice President of Internet Technology at BYU's Systems Management Association. Many of the points on this book will help me this semester and I, as I properly implement my duty if properly applied. For the most part of this article I will describe many of these concepts and apply them to my current position and responsibility.
E-myth Revisited assumes that each company or company has three roles, engineers (bakery craftsmen, plumbers, administrative assistants), managers and entrepreneurs. Every business needs these three companies. Even if it is the same person, business needs to be promoted by entrepreneurs, not technicians. Michael Gerber uses Lake Rock, which imitated McDonald's as a franchise, to explain the owner of a successful small business. (Note: If you have not yet seen the movie "Founder", please see.) Since the business process is highly documented, it is inexperienced, therefore anyone can follow these processes , You can recruit workers with low cost of work. The manager is responsible for allowing employees to comply with the process and allow entrepreneurs to concentrate on the development of your business.
Martin Zwilling said, "Twenty five years ago, Michael Gerber wrote a best-selling business book" Electronic Mythology: Why Most Businesses Will not Work, What To Do ". "Electric myth (entrepreneur myth)" We mistakenly believe that most companies are founded by people with practical business skills. Of course, these tasks need to be carried out in every business, but from a different point of view, there are business skills to design a vision and become more effective through forecasts, eliminating a lot of pressure. Process the required task schedule. You will be amazed by the power and energy you get from this movement.
