The Doves

Pigeons can be compared with other books and people in real life. The Billy Bard of Herman Melville is not an exclusion. This novel can be compared with many things, but Billy Bud can only compare with a few people in the world. One of the biggest and most common comparisons is Jesus Christ. Because Billy is pure, he does not regret death and he is not angry because he is hanged. He is a character like Christ. His life is over, his feelings when he was hung, and the state of his mouth before he leaves, Billy Bud is pure as anyone.
