Mary Graves got married soon, but her first husband was murdered. She cooked his murderer's food in prison to ensure that the man sentenced before he was hanged is not starving. Mary's grandson realized she was very serious; Graves said "I can cry but I can not, I will know how to cry again if I can forget this tragedy" said. It will not be resolved at important points
