The Divine Comedy

Throughout the Middle Ages, art and philosophy disappeared in the darkness, but the reintroduction of Italian Renaissance thought resulted in the revival of literature. One of the authors who influenced this revival was Dante Alighieri, a poet of the 13th century from Florence, Italy. His world-famous epic, La Coimedia, or more general god comedy, is a poetic masterpiece that has drawn truth and sin yet. Divine Comedy expresses the universal truth of good and evil through three journey of hell.
