Ovid's unique epic format Ovid's "transformation" is sometimes considered a non epic and a real epic. Because Ovid's theme is far from the heroic theme of "Illiad", "Odyssey", "Aeneid", this is mainly considered non-epic (Keith 237). The eggs are different and have motivation to push the epic beyond its previous boundary (eggs). Perhaps it is to confirm the structure of his work, Ovid proclaims that he will bear "a continuous song in thousands of poems" (Keith 238 - 239).

Comparing Gilgamesh 's epic, Hesiod' s Theogony and Ovid variants, there are many similarities between Gilgamesh 's epic, Hesiod' s Theogony and Ovid 's transformation. The first similarity is obvious: structure. The structure of the girugamesh narrative can be thought of as three concentric circles. It is a story in the story. In the outer circle, the narrator prepares the audience for the main story of the second circle, the story of the adventure of Gilgamesh.

Ovid is best known for Metamorphoses. By creating a transformation in Okimid's epic, Okimid's epic, Ovid invited him to compare with his oldest Roman poet Virgil who deliberately wrote Eneid's Epic. Regarding morphology, rhythm and size, the transformation record is entirely in the epic category. However, with regard to content, metamorphosis has little in common with epics like Aeneid, Aeneid is characterized by a single story and a hero. Indeed, Ovid clearly expresses the magnificent type of pleasure. "Makeover" is similar to the work by Hesiod and Alexandrin poets, and I agree with a series of independent stories on the theme theme. There are 250 stories in metamorphosis, they are related only to the common theme of transformation.
