In the field of special education, edutanable (or "educational intellectual disability") refers to an ID student with an IQ of about 50 to 75 that can go on to primary school in the academic year. Trainable (or "trainable intellectual disability") refers to a student who has less than 50 IQ but can study personal hygiene and other living skills with a shelter (collective housing etc.). In many areas, these terms are replaced by "moderate" and "serious" intellectual disabilities. The name has changed, but its meaning does not change much in fact.
