The term "boss and (team) leader" is often used in the same sense in the business world, but the characteristics of both are very obvious. W. G Rowe (Clark, 1997) determines the difference between the two by pointing out that being a boss means simply that you have the power to carry out leadership and mission. True leaders will demonstrate emergent leadership by influencing others to achieve their goals. When judging the differences, people can easily identify when they have real leadership, as well as making answers.

We use these terms in popular culture in the same sense, but in reality there is a world with a difference between leaders and bosses.
