Hypophosphatemia is a rare hereditary bone disorder characterized by overactive osteoblasts and bone remodeling with loss or incomplete mineral deposition. It is comparable to osteomalacia and rickets, but retains a unique set of signatures (Mornet 2008; Brickley and Ives 2008). Hypophosphatemia, also known as Raspan syndrome, may become autosomal dominant or autosomal recessive in some individuals. Severe forms usually transmit in the form of autosomal recessive inheritance with a risk of relapse of 25%, while light forms may spread as autosomal dominant or autosomal recessive with recurrence rates between 25 and 50% (Mornet 2008)

Low phosphatase syndrome is classified into five categories of perinatal lethal forms, infancy, adulthood, and finally lowest tooth hypophosphatasia at the most severe tooth.
