Abstract: This article clarifies the social injustice caused by spraying Orange to Americans and Vietnamese people during the conflict in Vietnam. Veteran war veterans in the US and many Vietnamese citizens are fighting the American government as destruction of orange agent destroyed their lives. Veterans demand compensation for this unfair treatment through litigation and government subsidies, but the Vietnamese want the United States to clean dioxin-contaminated lands and waterways.
During the Vietnam War, the United States sprayed 20 million gallons of orange and other herbicides and destroyed 5 million acres of forest and Vietnamese farmland. Dioxins are toxic compounds of oranges that are associated with various diseases and birth defects. According to the Aspen Institute, in addition to the catastrophic impact on humans, the "reduction of millions of acres of forest and farmland" has resulted in "extensive degradation and non-productivity so far". Rivers and soil are contaminated, threatening the extinction of animal species and decreasing biodiversity
In addition, chemical weapons can eliminate vegetation and cause lack of biodiversity. In particular, Orange Agent brought some major damage to Vietnam: "Orange Agent eliminated 15% of vegetation in the southern part of Vietnam" ("Impact", 1 page, 1 page). The abolition of vegetation in Vietnam resulted in a significant reduction in plant population, which also resulted in a decrease in the number of animals. As agriculture and indigenous people's vegetation decrease, there is a possibility that recession may occur due to insufficient sale of agricultural products. Overall, biological weapons and chemical weapons give a bad impression to the environment, so we need to extend the protocols that are implemented to eliminate the possibility of using such weapons.
Orange herbicide, also known as orange herbicide, was used as a strategy to reveal enemies as food during the Vietnam War (Veterans Affairs Bureau 2013). The use of oranges can have many devastating effects such as health risks and environmental damage such as loss of biodiversity in Vietnamese forests. The purpose of this article is to influence health and the environment with the toxic ingredient TCDD containing orange drugs.
One of the biggest reasons for Vietnamese veterans' health problems is due to chemicals called oranges. Orange is a herbicide used during the Vietnam War. Herbicides are mainly composed of dioxin known as tetrachlorodibenzodioxin. This dioxin is known to cause many diseases in laboratory animals, many of which are fatal. Orange has brought veterans and their families a number of health problems such as spina bifida, soft tissue sarcoma, Hodgkin's disease, prostate cancer, cutaneous porphyria, respiratory cancer, and chloralcle (what is orange? )
