The Decisive Moment, Then and Now: Photography

Consensus means that with the advent of inexpensive digital media film photos are on the verge of extinction. There are countless comparisons between the two formats to determine which format best reproduces the most realistic depiction. If you just compare technical specifications, important elements for creating attractive images are ignored. Photo shooting is not simply to press a button, but to find a winner through a memory card. It is to create an image that expresses your vision at a crucial moment.

Street photography requires 100% attention. You need to concentrate. You need to know how to become an expert in a "decisive moment". Street pictures are like first person shooter games - you have a camera, except that there are no guns. We should not "shoot" our theme - but street pictures need a lot of "hand and eye coordination". You need to have good skills to "cramp" - a quick reaction to the moment of a good city photography. I have been thinking focusing more and more on "the decisive moment", or simply the "moment" of the picture. My question - is it always a wonderful picture? For example, when I saw Elliot Erwitt's work, I thought that moment was all but I saw Michael Kena's work (especially his Japanese tree picture). Of course, they are two completely different photographers, but I think there should be something in common between the two. I can not unify these two views.

Almost everything that I do with photography has one thing in common. I tried to photograph a decisive moment. Even my own photos and other pictures, my favorite pictures almost always have a sense of time. I would like to recall this most memorable moment experience. I would like to tell this to other people. I do not know if love for my landscape photograph is coming from that special challenge or from tranquility and silence. Well, that is easy: lightning, because it is unpredictable and tornado as they are rare. There are many technical storm photographers. I just like those who shoot them when they happen, but weather related topics may be secondary interests. I like to shoot a hurricane, but it is rare in Kansas. I am a very cautious person, so some of the challenges I face trying to find the best opportunity to go without creating unnecessary risks.
