The San Diego Outrigger Canoe Club (SDOCC) was established in 1983 by former Navy Shieldy Van Winkle and has quickly become one of the most famous outrigger canoe clubs in San Diego, California. SDOCC has grown into one of the most diverse clubs in Mission Bay, not only from San Diego County but also from the United States, Europe and other countries. Our team is composed of male and female with some ability from Olympic player to casual paddler but we have love and passion common to the outrigger canoeing sports sports, enjoying the party as Ohana . SDOCC is proud to invite competing crew members to domestic and international competitions.
