This paper aims to propose three points: (1) There is a systematic relationship between personality and management ability; (2) the most systematic relationship between personality and management ability On top of these, these people may be very expensive organizations with defective leadership [management inability] / personality disability and management [narcissism] (PsycINFO database record (c) 2012 APA, all rights Reservation)
Leading experts explain the drawbacks of relying on a leader with a dark side of charm. There are victims. These leaders may be subject to unnecessary risks, potentially denying problems or failures, and followers tend to rely on leaders to do everything. They undoubtedly accepted the leaders. Sometimes people do not even know when they are absorbed - they may just be attracted to fanatism. Followers believe everything the leader says is right. When they eventually realize that something is wrong they feel uncomfortable asking about the leader's decision or it is too dangerous to say it. As time goes on, companies may experience low morale, high turnover rates, and reduced productivity.
Charisma can produce good results, but as we have seen in history, it can also be destroyed. The dark side of charm is as subtle as a strong and confident leader who governs teams and organizations so that others do not question the leader's decision. It may also be extreme. Just like merciful leaders who manipulate self-criticism or paying self-attention hurt individuals and organizations. When three important factors are missing, a dark side of charm will appear: a strong moral culture that listens to fans' voices, including different perspectives.
