In the Orbid myth "Myrrh" translated by Ted Hughes, Myrrh's character explores the consequences of succumbing to immoral impulses, Myrrha is cursed by her father and her father's sexual desire. She did not choose this feeling, but her crime has an influence on her passion. This is a warning story emphasizing the need to resist temptation at the expense of happiness. From the beginning of the myth, it shows that the feelings of Myrrha are immoral; "Hatred for a man's father is a crime / Myrrat's love for her father / a very serious crime" (105) .

The Greek myth explains that Aphrodite is not only a lover of Adonis but also his birth. She urged Mirrora to incest incest with his father, Tyas king of Assyria, Myrrh made it a dark night. When noticing that Theias was with him is his own daughter, he flew off and chased her with a knife. The gods turned myrrh into a tree of myrrh, and Adonis jumped out of the tree at last. The alternative version shows that Aphrodite in particular converted myrrh into trees. Adonis was born when Assisi shot a tree with an arrow or when a wild boar used his ivory to tear the tree bark.

In Greek mythology, roses were born from Adonis, the god of plants and regeneration. Adonis was born in a false alliance with King Teias and his daughter Myrrh. When Theias realized that his daughter had cheated on him, he chased her with a sword. To protect Myrrh, Aphrodite changed her into trees. King Shiasu shot the tree with an arrow and divided it into two. Adonis was born from this tree when he was born. Aphrodite took Adonis and raised like a son. As Adonis grew, he became an avid hunter. One day, when he was hunting, Adonis saw Aphrodite 's past lover, Ares, who was disguised as a wild boar. When Aphrodite who Ares attacked Adonis heard his scream, she ran into the forest and discovered that he was dead. Blood flowing from his wound hit the ground and turned into a rose

Another of her many love events is with Myrrh and the son of Cyprus, Adonis. When he was born, Aphrodite took care of Persephone until he grew up. But Persephone fell in love with him and did not give up, so the two stubborn goddesses had to go to Zeus. Therefore, Zeus ruled that he spends one third of the time Adonis spent with Persephone, and one third of the time spent with Aphrodite, and the last one of the year. / 3 is the man he wants (he finally spent with Aphrodite). He especially likes hunting, so Aphrodite has this hobby, so she can spend more time with him. But after a while she asked Adonis to give up the game. It was dangerous because I could not bear to lose him. One day he was chasing him and was killed by the boar, when she ran to him, she turned blood to Anemone Oregana as a symbol of their love.
