Rosh Hashanah's custom belongs to Tishri's first, September Jewish moon. It is considered a noble holy day and all normal activities are canceled. Even the Jews who are not particularly keen are willing to work hard to attend the synagogue. It is called Yomim Norain, or awe of awesome. On this day people should show humility to God and admit that we are going to sin whatever our intention is. People should pay special attention to their sins this day.
