The Curriculum

Regardless of theme or development level, each RTTP game contains the following components.

Student game book outlining historical background, game premises, central discussion and rules.

A teacher's manual that provides detailed explanations of daily running games with lecture notes.

Roll sheet sets are distributed to students with instructions on their personal goals and game strategies.

Reading various accompanying texts / main sources of information (also available as an appendix to the student's game book)

In addition, various games have various additional parts, from financial documents to voting tables, optional modules that make standard game rules complicated and rich.

Release games: "Response to the past" has two publications. W. W. Norton and Reacting Consortium Press (Publications of North Carolina University Press). Student game books (and copies of teacher exams) can be used by publishers on request. The teacher also needs to obtain explanations of teacher manuals and roles of each game.
