For the dark history and intrigue, I chose Arthur Miller's The Crucible. Because the drama reflects McCarthyism. Senator Joseph called the so-called "hunting witch" of the Communist. The play was held in Salem, Massachusetts in 1692, and it was suspected that magic was floating in the town. The first act starts in early spring and the fourth act ends in late autumn.
