Over the past nine months intersection development has dominated Mowa's local conversation. In the past few years, intersection developers have proposed various web site development proposals, but they have been rejected by the Mahwah Township Committee. CrossRoads CrossRoads is a successful pilot program originally developed under the auspices of SAMHSA and provides treatment of intensive mental health and substance abuse to puberty youth during probation. Funding by SB 97, CrossRoads has been expanded to meet the needs of young people at all stages of the juvenile justice spectrum and to expand the age range for children aged 10-22. Young people who refer to CrossRoads present a range of mental health problems including depression, anxiety, bipolarity and ADHD. According to Jefferson Center 's experience in the CrossRoads crowd, many of these young people will enter this system to coexist with mental health and substance abuse problems. These young people often face challenges in multiple systems, including schools, communities, and families. Providing appropriate service and intervention early in adolescent juvenile trials will help guide young people in a more aggressive path.
The intersection (1933) is a fresco of Diego Rivera at the Rockefeller Center in New York. It was originally planned to be installed in the lobby of No. 30 main building of Rockefeller Plaza. Intersection people introduce every aspect of contemporary society, science and culture. When first installed, it was 3 panel artwork. A worker who controls the machine is drawn in the center panel. The other two groups in the central group are "frontier of moral evolution" and "frontier of material development", respectively representing socialism and capitalism.
Rivera is formally requested by its development agent Todd, Robertson & Todd. The entire committee plans to use the people at the intersection as a three-story mural. The two groups "the front line of ethical evolution" and "the front line of material development" compare capitalism and socialism, respectively. According to Rivera's oral explanation of the planned mural, the center team will draw a person at the intersection of these two ideals (ie "a person at the intersection")
