The Colour Purple - Spirituality & Religion

Alice Walker argues that "purple" is still a "theological work trying a journey from religion to spirituality" of her. She reveals to the reader how successful his purpose is. In the preface of "purple", Walker considers her religious development to be the source of inspiration for her novels and marks religion and spirituality as the subject of the book. There are many key figures who have finished this journey, but in many cases the religious elements of the novel are obscured by other prominent themes such as self-development, relationships with women, ethnic issues and so on.

This "purple" quality is important for creativity. "Purple" is also the title of award-winning novel in 1982 by American writer Alice Walker. In addition, purple clothes show the status, power and wealth of wearing people in ancient Western culture. It is related to the elite and is often limited to the elite. For example, Roman Julius Caesar limited the wearing of purple or purple striped robes to the emperor (applied to his heir Augustus whose face appeared in coins of 2000 or less).

Purple is considered to be the second color of ancient China. In the classical era, secondary colors are less valuable than the Chinese primary five colors, purple was used to indicate illegality. But by the sixth century, purple was placed on a deep red. After that, some changes were made to the color level. Unlike purple, purple is not one of the colors of the visible spectrum. It is not one of the rainbow colors identified by Isaac Newton, it does not have its own light wavelength. Therefore, it is called non-spectroscopic color. It exists in culture and art, but it does not exist in optics like violet. It is a combination of different ratios of just two primary colors (red and blue)
